If you don't know of this author, she writes great books about controversial topics. (She wrote My sister's Keeper) House Rules tells the story of a single mother raising two boys, one of which has Asperger's. (Hubby couldn't cope, and is long gone) I just started it, only 47 pages in, but so far it is pretty good. She touches on biomedical interventions, even discusses vaccines, saying that she her son was developing normally until he was two and had his DTaP, Hib and hep B.
