Of course, finance is always a factor. It used to be that way for widows here, as long as they didn't marry again they had a widow's pension, but if they did get married again, they lost that pension. And I see how previous experiences could be a reason too. I agree with Akiba - what little I get from disability would be cut

way back or discontinued if I remarry - given the fact that I got a

divorce in 1984 -
