Katy -

Please don't give up on yourself! Have you ever tried doing WW at Home.

It does take some self discipline and willpower but I love it. If you get a

reliable scale, journal your food, drink your water and exercise you can be

successful. I find I don't have time for the meetings and this community is

very motivating and encouraging. Let us know if we can help.

hi katy man that stinks i would be soooo mad after driving around and not being able to find a meeting.

i think you should call the 800 number and tell them what happened they need to know also they can tell you where an actual meeting is taking place so that you can plan to get to a meeting convenient to you. here is that number just in case you dont have it. 1-....i call it often to ask stupid questions and they are really nice and helpful.

good luck!!!!~ANA~start date 9/27/01 ...194/185.4/130

Katy,

Don't get discouraged! Have you thought about doing it on your own?

I don't attend meetings because I couldn't find the time to make it

there, so I started doing it on my own and using the board for

accountability and support. If you don't want to do it on your

own...how about the on-line program? I don't know a lot about it but

it might work for you.

The important thing to remember is: Why are you doing ww? I bet it

is for yourself! With this in mind, just know that you CAN AND WILL

make it to goal!!! Even if you don't attend meetings, you CAN still

make it to goal!!!!

Thanks for the suggestions --- I will definitely call the 1-800

number, tomorrow - that's a good idea. Yes I have thought about doing

it at home - the problem seems to be finding a reliable scale. I

received one suggestion and am trying to find that particular scale.

Thanks for being there, everyone! I'm back on program today, and will

explore the suggested options this week....

Katy~

I bought my scale online at http://quickmedical.com/ It was $66.95 with

free shipping and weighs in .1 increments. I LOVE it! I got it 5 days

after I ordered it. It is a Salter 9985 Glass Bathroom Scale It is so

reliable that

you can't believe it. If you stand on it 10 times you will get the same

reading all 10 times.

I am doing online (though if you don't have all the books & stuff I would

suggest the at home)

I love it.

Hope this helps you get right back on track & not be so discouraged.

Katy - how awful!! You can't say you aren't trying to get to meetings!! Why don't you try the At Home Program or the Online Program?? We are always around to help you and you can post your weight to us for accountability if that's what you need!! Hang in there Katy!!

It's been four weeks since I weighed in because I can't seem to get to WW meetings - last Sunday I went to a mid-day meeting but the office was closed down; yesterday I tried to go to a 10 am meeting in Carlsbad - again, office was closed with no message on the door - lots of mail on the floor inside the door and a UPS "attempted delivery" notice on the door. Then I drove a few minutes North to attend the 10 am meeting in Oceanside, and again, no one was there. Then I weighed in at home on the scale I'm returning to Target today and it showed I had GAINED 1.5 pounds since Wednesday.I'm completely discouraged about these WW meetings that don't seem to happen, and yesterday binged all day on Cheez-Its (which I don't even LIKE - they're too greasy). I'm getting tired of driving all over the place to try to find meetings that aren't where they're supposed to be.Thanks for listening!!!Katy
