Guest guest
I first heard about Nerve Fix when I was listening to the Dr. Bob show on the radio. Several callers were praising Nerve Fix and thanking "Dr. Bob" for telling about it on the air. One caller said he had been dxed with Carpal Tunnel, heard about nerve fix on the radio, and after taking it for 2 months he had no more CTS Then another person called in with a story of Peripheral Neuropathy with the same good results from Nerve Fix. That's when I search for it and decided to try it. The first month I was on it I had really good results. Right now I have some other things going on so it's hard to know for sure what the results are. I am going to keep taking them for at least a few more months, though, so I better judge the results. Right now I'm having a toothache and will be having oral surgery on the 19th. This is the appointment I have made/canceled/postponed for nearly a year. The tooth wasn't hurting before so it was easy to put it off. But now it's hurting! I'm on my second round of antibiotics for the infection in my tooth/jaw. At the same time I'm having a bout of Trigeminal Neuralgia. I wonder if the TN was aggravated from the bad tooth on the bottom. And at the same time I had gone way down on my Neurontin and felt wonderful! Now I've had to increase the Neurontin because of the TN. But, I am going to stick with Nerve Fix because it worked great the first month before I started having all of these added problems. BTW, I showed all the information to my wonderful PCP before I started taking it. She looked it over and said she really didn't know much about the homeopathic part but she said the "Alpha Lipoic Acid" listed in 'other ingredients' would probably help more than anything. Anyone here taking ALA?hugs))SharonHere's the info on Nerve Fix from http://www.iherb.com/productdetails.aspx?c=1 & pid=4725 & utm_source=ysp & utm_medium=c Description Helps Relieve Symptoms of: Numbness, Tingling, BurningNerve PainPins & Needles Indications: Helps relieve symptoms of numbness, tingling, burning, nerve pain and pins and needles. Nerve Concerns Nerve related concerns might occur as a result of nerve compression (nerves become pinched or trapped along their course), trauma, inflammation, poor diet, lack of exercise, diabetes and a host of other causes. Help is Available Helping the underlying concern can often decrease and sometimes eliminate symptoms. For instance, if caused by a pinched nerve or swelling, or some other disorder, your physician may recommend certain exercises, which might help stretch shortened or contracted muscles. In addition to NerveFix, there are also non-drug therapies which may include chiropractic, relaxation training, biofeedback, anti-gravity inversion, ice application, walking, exercise rehabilitation, yoga, warm baths, massage, wearing shoes that fit well, avoiding alcohol, acupuncture and physio-therapy. Results of Nerve Pain Minor nerve interference causes different reactions in the body. Abnormal sensations may include numbness, tingling, burning, pins-and-needles, or similar symptoms including peripheral neuropathy. This is often a result of nerve irritation, localized swelling or injury. Hands, fingers, feet, back and even the face are the most commonly affected areas. Reasons for Nerve Related Symptoms Your doctor should identify the underlying cause of numbness, tingling or burning. You may have experienced nerve reactions to one or more of the following: Remaining in the same seated or standing position for an extended period of time. Trauma to the body part where you feel the sensation. Mechanical pressure on the nerves in your wrist, neck, lower back or spine, and other areas. Since nerve challenges might be a symptom of another health problem, always see your doctor for any condition which may require their services. Depending on the area of the body being affected by nerve challenges, consider consulting with chiropractic physicians, neurologists, internal medicine specialists, podiatrists, dentists, and acupuncturists. Re: NerveFix -- bone density, osteoporosis, Trigeminal Neuralgia Kate, has my Mom mentioned NerveFix yet? If not, have her? I don't know if it's something you'd be interested in, but I think she should at least tell you about it. lol HUGS, Challis Kate Rothschild <katelloydkidz@ optonline. net> wrote: nne, You are such a sweetie! I decided--I have GOT to take my meds; trying to go without is just not the thing to do. I just called and found out my wonderful neuro, who had gotten my call yesterday, had left a message on his machine over the wk end, did in fact call in a rx for 20 mgs of cymbalta. I am hoping that this helps with the nerve pain and depression, which might help in someway, lessen the TN pain. How is Chuck? Is he still working hard on his ship? I hope his neck is ok. That must be hard to have a hobby that he enjoys so much, that gives him pain. Love you both, kate Kate I am sorry you are still in so much pain. You are in my prayers as always.
