Guest guest
No. From what I have read here, my adrenals appear to be fine. My HR and temp are normal, although my temp is still a bit low. Are there other symptoms of needing adrenal support? Guest guest
Pulse stays about 80, but it is at times very strong, if that makes sense. Even then it's still about 80. I have not take adrenal support because pulse has been normal and consistent and temp is a bit low, but also consistent. What are other symptoms pointing to needing adrenal support? Guest guest
You mentioned in another email about using herbs and supplements for a more natural option for adrenal support. Perhaps I need just a bit, since I don't really have symptoms? What would you suggest and what manufacturers. (I'm really picky sources. Guest guest
I am eating more. I was literally starving myself before going on T3. It was the only way I could maintain my weight, even though I was/am at least 50 pounds overweight. I was even on a raw diet and gained weight! I was definitely eating less than 1000 cal/day. I kept a food log for several months for my chiro. He was convinced my diet was the reason I was so overweight. I am now eating just as healthy, but instead of eating a piece of an apple, I eat the whole thing! So, yes, I'm eating more, but it can't justify the weight gain. Guest guest
But what makes someone who used to have low aldosterone low sodium, all the sudden have high bp and low potassium? Guest guest
for natural adrenal support a lot of ppl use isocort. but if you say your temps are good....but how long have you been on T3 only? If you haven't been on it longer than 12 weeks, I'd say you have leftover RT3 build up. If you have been on it 12 weeks, I would explore other options. > > You mentioned in another email about using herbs and supplements for a more > natural option for adrenal support. Guest guest
how is your renin? and was it done at the same time as aldosterone? And how much/how long have you been on HC? Guest guest
They didnt do renin ever, but I just recieved my bloodwork results from several weeks ago..but I am feeling the same ,so it should be the same. Swelling headaches, muscle cramps in neck, back, hgih blood pressure. sodium 136 135-145 potassium 3.7 3.5-5.2 I was taking salt, but it caused swelling...now I see i needed both. Is 20 meq enough? If I add lemon water? or should I also by no-salt. I dont like any preservatives. Guest guest
My K(potassium) was 3.3 and it took 80meq to get it to 4.0. I don't believe 20meq will be nearly enough.
