Guest guest
Can someone refresh my memory on how the excercise points work? I thought you somehow buy back some of your " eaten " points after you earn some excercise points. And does anyone do Curves? I'm thinking this is considered a high intensity..I mean, afterall...its more than just a " probably makes you sweat " kind of thing. Thanx in advance! Guest guest
Basically, for every 100 calories burned, you can earn 1 Activity Point. (But this all depends on how much you weigh. If you weigh more, you earn more.) You can convert or bank up to four APs. (You can ALSO use your banked APs for APs for another day.) Personally, I would probably consider Curves to be more moderate, but I guess this depends on how hard you work. Taebo would probably be high intensity - but again, this depends on how hard you work. > Excercise Points > > > Can someone refresh my memory on how the excercise points work? Guest guest
Hi I'm new! My name is Kat, short for Katrina. I've been overweight since I was 6 years old. Finally, at 34, I " m at a place emotionally and support wise that I feel I can finally do away with all the extra me I've carried around for years. I really sincerly feel this time I " m going to make it. I feel a kind of peace with the decision, which I've never felt before in prior attempts. Anyway, I've got a couple of questions.. I am doing the winning points program out of the books, not going to meetings. How do the " banked " points work ?? also, everyday at work I " m doing 20 + minutes of excercise, the walk away the pounds video. would that be moderate excercise? thank you for your time. Guest guest
Hey Kat, and welcome! First of all, you said something profound in saying you are a place that you can do it. That's so much of the problem so many people. They aren't really ready, so they only try a little. A friend of mine at work who does WW said he knows he only does it half-$%#. I just asked him which cheek was getting thin. Since you really know you can do it, you will. Anyway, as to banked points, subtract any unused points from your day (from the top of your range), and you can " bank " them to use later in the week. My range is 28-33, so if I use 31 points, I can bank 2 points for use later on. It does come in handy if you go out with friends or just have a day where you need to eat a little more. I haven't done WATP yet, but my guess is walking amounts to moderate exercise. Then again, it's only a guess since I tend to do more of the kickboxing type videos and a few Kathy low impact and interval workouts. To your success! In Him, Jon Prayer is not overcoming God's reluctance, but laying hold of His willingness. — Luther Re: Excercise Points Hi I'm new! My name is Kat, short for Katrina. I'm not sure how I feel about that at all. On the one hand, I like the women only thing at Curves. It was why I joined, but to absolutely NOT allow men to join...I don't know.1z8t99t20341745873

Not a very nice commentary on men in that book, though. I also remember those videos. Hahaha. Curves is definitely NOT stepford. The YMCA is great! I love it. Lots of different facilities and options for keeping things interesting. It's also quiet! I love that! I download books onto my iPod and just escape into the world of Crichton or Sue Monk Kidd.
