Guest guest
my charger goes through periods of not sleeping through the night. he will get up and play games or take a bath or other things. we just keep telling him he is suppose to be in bed and sending him back some nights we have had to put him in our room so we can make sure he stays laying down. I thought he liked getting up but last week he would get up in the morning and proudly announce that he slept the whole night this makes for need of pull ups but we are ok with that at night. we have never used any meds for this for him. our DSPD worker told us many children with disabilities go through the same cycles with wes. wonder if it has to do with moon or something because they are all waking up around same time even when they do. good luck KayRena Jillz211@... wrote: > > Hi all, > I have a few questions.... > Has anyone used AIT for their kids. Guest guest
I take Nortiplyne for chronic pain, and sometimes - very rarely it helps with my sleeping patterns. I have always had trouble sleeping either through the night or waking up really early and ready to start the day. I don't know if it has to do with having CHARGE, or if has to do with my neck. I can understand what your feeling Kayrena cause my mother has gone through it, most of my life. Even at 25 I still have sleeping problems, and sometimes they do get pretty eratic. Guest guest
takes 1mg. Melatonin at night and generally goes right to sleep. However, last summer and then again at spring break from Perkins, she got up starting @ 3:15 and would get out of her bed over and over again at 1-15 minute intervals. Her psych last summer put her on 2 mg. Ativan for this problem. That was too much med, so we lowered it to 1 mg. This (knock on wood - my OCD) worked well. She was a bit off/groggy for awhile in the morning but not badly so. Martha

Guest guest
Krista, Magnesium supplements can be helpful for sleep issues and to calm the neurological system. I take magnesium myself. It helps me a lot. --
