Pred and DVTs/spending/viruses

Lynn, I've come across a few things that have said one should be very

cautious about going on Pred if one has a tendency towards swelling

in legs..... I also have an email friend in Germany( a young

veterinarian) who has PM and had 2 strokes this past year.) Ask you

doc to find out more??? And yes, stay off that foot.

Teddi, you poor girl! May that blasted bug go away and stay away.

Vicki, thanks for that eye-opening site- yikes is right! Also, you

are a " glutton for punishment. " Gluten is found in wheat. LOL. You

make me smile.

thanks, ...ick!! I'm going to do some searching

about Pred and DVTs. Just got back from having the

PT/INR done (needed daily) and I'm still not at

therapeutic levels, so I'm staying home tomorrow

again. Calf just doesn't feel right, plus I'm getting

pain in the upper thigh where the muscle goes up into

the hip.

And I learned I'm very anemic...no surprise, I can

barely sit here and type, really bad form for carpal

tunnel..lol...

Watching ice skating...Plushenko is on now...I like

the other guy...what a great skate he had!!

I get pain in my upper thigh where it goes into the hip too. I'll be

watching with great interest.

Oh, I told 'em, Ed, but they just " hmmmm'd " me and

that was that. If I can wake up in time to call the

rheumy tomorrow a.m., I shall and see what she might

say.

Is yours in the front of the thigh or the back? Mine

is more in the back.

So, let's go find a piece of chocolate and say the

heck with it for tonight!

quad.....really opens the door for a medal

for Gabble. Have to feel sorry for Todd

Elredge and Elvis ......30 is getting too old

for the body to do the jumps the younger

skaters are doing. USA did quite well in

the 500 meter speed skating Yah!!!

I felt bad for Eldredge too. Wanted him to finally get that gold.

I feel awful for the Canadian pair skaters. It seems everyone agrees that

they should of come in first, but the way they have handled themselves shows

they are true champions.
