Debbie,

Dana and I can't get in. We were doing a buddy chat with Kim, but she left.

We are trying to get in. Wanna join us? I don't know if anyone else

got in. You can check.

Hey Maureen!! Yahoo has been doing lots of upgrades and deleting very old archives this week. When they did one of the upgrades some ID's changed, I don't know why though!! I'll post how to change ID's just in case you're not the only one in this group that changed!! Sorry about that!!

~~

Yahoo! Groups allows you to create and use up to 5 different profiles to

display different information about yourself to specific groups.

Below are instructions on how to:

- Edit your profile(s)

- Create new profiles

- Choose which profile is displayed to your group(s)

To edit your profile(s):

1. Sign into Yahoo! Groups by going to:

http://groups.yahoo.com/

2. Click on "Account Info" near the upper-right portion of the page (Note: You may need to re-enter your Yahoo! password before continuing).

3. Click on the "Edit/Create Profiles" link in the right margin of your Yahoo ID Card.

4. Click on the "Edit" link to the right of the profile you wish to edit.

5. Use the links in the yellow box above your profile to edit the different aspects of your profile.

To create a new profile:

1. Sign into Yahoo! Groups by going to:

http://groups.yahoo.com

2. Click on "Account Info" near the upper-right portion of the page (Note: You may need to re-enter your Yahoo! password before continuing).

3. Click on the "Edit/Create Profiles" link in the right margin of your Yahoo ID Card.

4. Click on the "Create New Public Profile" button near the top of the page.

5. Enter the desired information into the form and use the "Click Here When Done" button.

Note: Your profile name must be unique. You will be returned to the form

if the name you choose is already in use by someone else.

To choose which profile is displayed to your group(s):

1. Sign into Yahoo! Groups by going to:

http://groups.yahoo.com

2. Click on the "My Groups" link near the upper-right portion of the page. Here, you can see which profiles are used for each group.

3. Click on the name of the group for which you want to choose a profile.

4. Click on the "Delivery Options" link on the right side of the page.

5. Use the drop down menu under "Yahoo! Profile" to select the desired profile.

Be sure to click on the "Save Changes" button when you are finished.

Hi ,

I have tried to do this, (unless I am missing something) but when I

go into my screen it already has Maureen there. When I try to add a

new profile, it tells me that Maureen is already being used. I

really don't understand how it changed it or why. It was fine the

other day when I posted and then yesterday it changed.

I just saw this message on the top of the screen:

Warning: If you reply to the message author or the group owner, your

email address will be displayed in the message you send.

what is going on with this????

Maureen
