I have bilateral facial palsy and im so tired of ppl telling me to " smile more " expecialy when I am smiling! I think I would have more self esteem if I wasnt always grimicing. Im going to eventualy get my last choanal atresia operation so i wanted to know about this one too. Chantelle
Guest guest
The doctor could have been J. Marsh. We met him when he must have been right out of residency, and our experience was most unpleasant. We were dealing with speech issues. He said quite blandly that if a patient wasn't going to develop speech, he wouldn't do surgery. Dah! Our had VPI and thus couldn't speak. However, I've heard some good things about the man since was born 20 years ago. If this is the guy you've heard about, ask a lot of questions on the list. I believe he attended and presented at the last (?) CHARGE conference. Good luck. Martha
