Guest guest
I didn't have Champus, but two of my friends did. Both of them had the surgery about five years ago. I can ask them if they'll contact you if you'd like. Just let me know.

Guest guest
Hi! What do you mean by being approved by Champus standard but then waiting to see what comes up from them? I am new to this so sorry if it doesn't quite make sense :-) T

Guest guest
well, in the past we have been getting bills stating that " only $$$ allowed " so if $10 was allowed and it cost $90 then I would have to pay the other $80 . well I haven't gotten a bill from them yet on the surgery yet but I'm waiting .... Guest guest
in response to this ,what she means is first you go to your pcm which is primary care manager and let them know you would like to be considered for haveing the surgery, then they write you a referral to go see a doc who does the sugery he then submits a claim to your insurance which is tricare to see if they willl covert he surgery and they in turn let you know if you can go ahead that is how the tricare not champus works now . champus was dicontinued two years ago .god bless nicole
