Guest guest
That's the same one I had and it was murder to get rid of! I finally did with only the Lord's help! My brain is aching so I will go now. > OK, I am finally virus free. (I'm pretty sure this time) > > I thought I was a couple times, but wasn't and I hope I don't get it again! What a pain in the butt!!! Norton Virus scan found it but couldn't quarantine it or delete it. If you have it and you're having the same problem go to http://www.norton.com and click on > > W32.Badtrans.B@mm > and follow their instructions. > > You should all update your virus scan and run them. This virus isn't going hurt your computer, from what I gather. It does read your files though and get you passwords etc - and sends out a ton of mail to people who have sent you mail, from you're address book, you name it. > > Anyway, I'm sorry for any problems I've caused with this. I didn't realize my email wasn't protected. I just recently switched to Outlook Express. You don't even have to download or open an attachment in OE to get viruses (I didn't know that). I now have Norton scanning my email so this should not happen again!
