I finally had jannie on my due date. (Of course, I was induced) I am praying you have your baby soon. Tonite? Would you like that? Thanks for letting us know what is going on. I also hear that nipple stimulation helps. Whatever you decide to do or not do, your little girl will be beautiful and lucky to have such a loving family to welcome her. Available at healthfood stores. 3 tablets under the tongue at least 3/day but up to every 1/2 hour. It definitely got some action going and baby was born in less than 2 days. I was already 6 days late when I took it. Just thought I'd let you know if you are interested. I know for sure it is better than pitocin. LOL Wendi No baby yet Well, I went to my doc appt. You can call around and ask if they carry homeopathic remedies. It is about $6 and tastes like sugar. Homeopathy is completely side effect free so it is safe. You cannot overdose either so take as much as you like. It comes in 2 strengths 6c and 30c get the 30c if possible. I wish you the best of luck. Sex does help also. My first midwife told me " don't think of it as sex, think of it as bathing your cervix in prostaglandins! " semen has lots. They use prostaglandin gel in the hospital so it's a natural version. I hope this helps. I didn't want to put in all the details if you weren't interested. I'm glad you have an open mind. Can't wait to hear about your delivery and beautiful baby. I had one of those football player babies!! My son(#2 baby) was 9-1\2lbs, 22 inches long!! He was so big he almost could not wear the outfit I had brought for him to go home in! LOL It stretched as much as it could, and he could not straighten his legs!! Needless to say, all the 0-3 mo clothes got boxed right back up, and out came the 3 and 6 mo sizes!! He was 10 lbs at his 2 wk check up, and his head was 15 in. He is now a smallish boy of 36 lbs, 40 in at almost 5 yrs old!! But, he was the size of a 2 mo old at birth! I also was so- desperate with some of my preg's I used black and blue cohosh tincture. evening primrose capsules , you can find at gnc, they soft your cervix - ripen it. Sex, nipple stimulation, and visualizing your body in labor, may help. Also if you become desperate call your Dr. and tell them so. Most are very understanding, and helpful. S. Mom to5. I will have to call around to them if I can figure out how the heck to pornounce Caulophyllum thalictriodes!! LOL. I have tried the sex a couple times, will have to keep on trying it!! Sometimes when you go really over they become smaller because they start to digest there own fat. My dd was 2weeks late and weighed 6'4 " my son was 8 days late and weighed 7'12 " . But both their heads were 14in. so it's not how big the body but how big the head that determines the pain. 14in heads hurt a lot. Especially with no drugs. I have tried it 2 times with this one while I was 3cm dialated and didn't do anything for me =(* It was horrible for nothing. I mixed it with OJ because I heard it helps the body obsorb it faster. Re: No baby yet Wow, if you want to talk about homeopathic inducers, I did a few myself. I have never told my husband though. My mom and I (and now all of you) are the only ones that know. So here are the different things I tried: Castor oil mixed with rootbeer, stimulation of the nipples, sex, some kind of primrose or something like that capsules that you insert vaginally, lots and lots of walking. Now mind you - none of those things helped me. I was 1 week late. But after the birth I realized that you cannot do these self-inducing things unless you have begun effacing and dilating. When I went in to get induced 1 week after my due date, I was still 0 cm and 0% effaced. Thus, none of my efforts worked.
