Guest guest
Sorry if this has already been talked about (was awy until yesterday and hit the delete key very hard), but I've just watched the video of the lastest version - A as the mother, and cried. I'm sure it was more indepth than the original. I'm not really sure if I'll let Kate watch it yet, but then maybe she'll ignore me and watch it anyway. I really enjoyed it though and would recommend it if you videoed it for the kids but decided not to watch yourself. Guest guest
has watched it twice already. Lots of in depth questions about why the father had gone away what they were doing etc but mainly " why couldn't we have lived then? then I could have gone off and played on my own like they do. " I cried loads too. has also watched Alice in Wonderland 3 times since last Sunday and is totally besotted, she spent yesterday wandering around the house talking to the " treasure cat " . For example, in the book, film and BBC version the boy who breaks his leg is the grandson of " The Old Gentleman " . Also, the russian was skimmed over a bit quickly too. But I still thought it was excellent. Helen
