I got the impression that the journo isn't anti bf, but was just giving an explanation why bf isn't popular amongst young mothers, and she made some valid points about it being due to the " selfishness " of youth. Would have (obviously) prefered a more balanced argument, and a more pro-bf conclusion. Think one issue she missed out, is younger mothers embarrasment of " exposing " themselves in front of family and friends. Okay to sunbathe topless in Ibiza in front of thousands of strangers and a few TV cameras, but shameful in private with your nearest and dearest! This is what made my younger SIL give up anyway. Got fed up of hiding upstairs whenever she had visitors!
