Guest guest
All...I have mentioned that I have been consulting with several biochemists who are well known experts in the field of hormone therapy. When I mentioned to them that I have difficulty tolerating any thyroid hormone and suggest that its because my adrenals are in bad shape, they tell me to simply take less thyroid. They are familiar with the arguments made on STTM about needing to fix the adrenals first and respectfully disagree...saying that my adrenals are in bad shape in part because I was low thyroid to begin with. They believe cortef is highly toxic even in small doses and that those taking it are causing longterm harm. Instead they say if you can't tolerate thyroid in my case T3..simply reduce the level of thyroid until you can tolerate it and build up slowly...this will heal the adrenals. Any thoughts?
