Guest guest
Flagyl is new for to be a strong one. We have the same troubles you describe every time I give flagyl to my son (11 y o). The couple of first times I must stop it after 2 days, so it was bad. Next time, I started by smaller doses (half of prescription). Lot of probiotic after the cure and, it became " normal " some days later. maryna --- En date de : Jeu 28.10.10, patircksmom a écrit : > De: patircksmom > Objet: Flagyl Questions > À: mb12 valtrex > Date: Jeudi 28 octobre 2010, 3h10 > Does anyone have experience with > Flagyl? Guest guest
When we started flagyl, in the first 2 weeks we saw diarrhea, crazy moving rashes--and I mean crazy--our DAN said i was not an allergic reaction, but reaction to toxins dying. We pushed through and by the end of the 3rd week his stomach was soft at day's end for the first time I could remember. For us, we were on it for 4 weeks. 3 weeks after that, it cam back. We started 60 day course of flagyl along with nystatin (we did nystatin the first time too) and 2 packets of VSL#3 each day. the VSL has helped us keep the bad bacteria down a bit, but we still need to do courses of flagyl here and there for now. We also did a CDSA and found other bad bacterias...we killed some with bactrim and we are trying to kill enterobacer with uva ursi and OoO. Raisins can be dusted with flour on a conveyor belt so th do no stick together, so be careful to ask if you are GFCF. For weight gain, w use Ultracare for Kids by Metagnics (iherb.com)and mix with So Delicious coconut milk 3x day...we are finally in the double digist on the weight chart (although to be honest, Creon really helped us gain wight too). > > Flagyl is new for to be a strong one. Guest guest
thank you for the information. I do check the raisins, but we have been doing trials of wheat, just to see. We tried a protein powder with coconut milk with no big results. The doctor only had us on a one weeks course of Flagyl. I wonder if it would be best to try more. We are also using Amphotericin B and VSL ds #3. > > > > Flagyl is new for to be a strong one. We have the same troubles you describe every time I give flagyl to my son (11 y o). Guest guest
Hi Nadia. I have taken Flagyl in the past and I had those same reactions. I felt better on them as time went on. I took them for 3 months or 4 months.I didn't feel normal until I finished. Good luck Tammy F. Flagyl is new for to be a strong one.
