Guest guest
Ok, went to see this new DAN Dr, whom mentioned he's seen excellent results on his severely autistic patients with this Cranial Sacral + Facial Reflexology method called "Tempura". He says it would help with my son's echolalia, eye contact and give him more speech and less hand stimming. Could this be another Therapy that's to good to be true? Has anyone on this board tried it? Yes my son sees Dr. Ryser in K.C. and I have talked personaly to Dr. Shaller who writes books on Lyme,I am a member of Ks. Lyme fighters. My son has done the extensive antibiotic treatments with transfer factors,enzymes,vits.,calci-clear for Bio film,Heparin (a blood thinner he is currently on,too fearful to remove this although I think he react bad to it(makes him more spastic feeling)) spec.scan,,inter muscle shots for PANDAS(36total),NAET treatments, flew to Seattle for homeopathic Doc. and he didn't understand why he reacted so badly to his protical. When I say bad I mean that he goes from being irritable, cranky,to being out of this world spastic(like wanting to jump out of moving a car and cannot be consoled.)All Meds Make Him Sick. No doc has understood that. Maybe its that his DNA Genes don't detox?Dr. Shaller thinks the Geneomic path is not very helpful. He said he use to take the Genes into consideration, but now he does not.He saw only 5-15% difference in people getting better. Not sure what to do with that info. though.Thank you Christel.I appreciate all your input. Also I would like to add, that if I would have gone against what the doctors have prescribed for my son(taking one med at a time) I could have been much better off.Like what Cheryl suggests with starting one med at a time in order to know what is doing what.Unfortunately I have yet to meet a Doc. that works that way.  my understanding is that long term lyme untreated DOESN"T go away you simpley manage it. what things have you tried, what problems are you having? lyme carries a whole host of issues on it's own forget autism or other things complied on it. have you sought out a LIA dr or a LLMD?  immunologist recommendation > > > > Hello, > > Can someone recommend an (understanding) immunologist for our ASD son? > > Chet >
