Guest guest
Could someone please repost the web address for the jungle packs? I do apologize for asking because I know it has been posted several times, but we have a new computer now and I have lost all that data. Thanks much. Also, just FYI, there is another virus called W32 annoying virus that my virus scan has caught for the 3rd time. We just got the computer last Monday and I only have this list serv and another CI forum in my address book. But someone must have the virus and not cleaned their computer yet. Could everyone, just as a precautionary measure, run a virus scan on their machines? Thanks much. The stretchy material fits the Sprint with the double battery pack and two spares. Another item you may be interested in is spare batteries. We've been testing some nickel metal hydride (cellphone-type) batteries for about a month in 's processor and they have worked great. NiMH batteries have about 1/3 longer life and do not have to be fully discharged in order to be fully recharged (memory problem). The cost is $9.99 for four AA batteries. www.gotbatteries.com, part number TP4AANIMH. Shipping was $3.99 via priority mail. So far, these have worked out great, cheaper than Cochlear and Rat Shack and a better type of battery to boot. I apologize if Kay already has this resource on her site. Folks might not have run across it and I would rather it be repeated than have them miss info that can be helpful to them. Believe it or not, I didn't have this on my site - but I will soon correct that. ;-) Thanks Chris! Kay

Guest guest
Those fanny packs are cute, but I've been looking for one with a little padding to keep the Phonic remote in. Guest guest
Check out the Tune Belts web site. I think, www.tunebelt.com I just put in an order for one and am waiting for it to come. It has a wide, elastacized belt that looks like it would fit snugly to the body. I don't know how much padding the actual pouch has, but maybe you can tell if it's what you want in the picture. Guest guest
Dawn... That's the reality and the mystery we all experience. It's reality to us, and seems to be a real " mystery " to the medical experts. Annette Question I found out my CK was 384 yesterday, which is the very lowest yet. My question is this: why is my pain not subsiding and somedays even seems worse than ever if my #'s are going down? I see my Rhuemy on March 5th and if my #'s are down, I believe he'll think I'm " all better " and pain free. Thanks. Dawn
Guest guest
Dawn, Rheumy's have a tendancy to believe if your cpk is down you are feeling better. Well, the simple fact is is that you still have muscle damage that is not going away. I have found that I have had worse pain with lower cpk and been suprised that I feel well with higher ones.. I always say-the only thing you can be sure of with myositis is that you can't be sure of anything!!! Tell your rhuemy that. Your level of pain and good days does not always go along with the level of your cpk. Take care, Good news on the cpk. Zanna
Guest guest
Dawn - My doc said even tho the CPK comes down, the muscles are still damaged...so, just cause numbers are down..the muscles are still damaged. Be patient. She wants me to swim for exercise. Lynn --- Dawn Green wrote: > I found out my CK was 384 yesterday, which is the > very lowest yet. Guest guest
Dawn, 's CPK numbers were in the normal range for a couple of months before the muscles caught up. Hang in there. It will happen. Guest guest
My pulse rate was 101 today. My bp was 161 over 100. I am high. I don't know if it is because of my higher meds but my heart seems to be racing lately. You have a bp cuff at home?? I did mine at Target today. I think I will call the doc tomorrow. Guest guest
Hi Vicki...so sorry your feeling so bad hun!!!! 70 to 100 beats per minute is considered in the normal range, so your really right there at the top end of normal. Its not considered Tachycardia (or rapid heart rate) till your over 120bpm's. Hope this helps and that you can get to feeling better friend. BIG hugs, anzavic@... wrote: Ok, I've not felt good all day long. Tried to get up and move around but that makes it worse. I get short of breath doing the least little thing. In Target, it's a little inconvenient, but people would probably hardly notice....just gently take of your bra, pantyhose , etc, and casually take your blood pressure again, and see if there's a big difference!
