I have a strange mix of hobbies for myself I am a certified baseball umpire; I officiate games from Little League up to high school and will be getting into doing college ball in the next year or two (but I've been on extended " maternity leave " since I was pregnant with Kylie). I'm just starting to teach Cardio-Karate - it's a new experience for me. I used to dance for 15 years, and I was one of the oldest in the class (most of the ballet students are still in high school LOL). I felt a little out-of- place in dance classes lately DH is a 3rd degree black belt in karate, and his Dojo was starting the cardio-karate program. They heard about my dance experience, so they recruited me to teach. It's a great workout, and I'm excited about my first official class starting this week I go to the gym with DH when I can coordinate either a babysitter at the gym or when the kids are in school (which really isn't too often). On the rare occasions that I get more than 5 minutes to myself, I love to read books: Auel (Clan of the Cave Bear series), Anne Rice and Dean Koontz are my authors of choice. In the summer time we all love to go to classic car cruises - good family fun. I'm hoping that Tommy will warm up to organized sports this year (he tried karate and tee-ball last year, with not-so-great results. He hated it, so we let him quit - why force a 4 year old to stick with an activity he doesn't enjoy?). & Kylie, still nursing at 18 months! It's just that the egg can't reach the uterus (or more specifically, the sperm can reach the egg in the fallopian tube because it's severed). The only time you wouldn't get a period with a " female surgery " is if you get a hysterectomy or your endometrium (lining of your uterus) is removed. & Kylie, still nursing at 18 months! Guest guest
Hi...Jen... I just have to ask you a question...I am still thinking about having my tubes tied after my baby is born. I have had a prolapsed uterus with an earlier pregnancy and am already having troubles with my uterus dropping down and such. So, we figured it would probably be best to have them tied. Well, I was just curious...maybe it is a stupid question...but, my husband and I were both curious. After your tubes are tied....do you still have periods? I really dont' know much about it...I'm just gonna have to talk to the doctor..but, I thought I would ask. Re: Hobbies and Sex Drive...hehehe > > > > >Labardini wrote: > >> >> >> Oh man! Guest guest
We're in Southern Colorado, Pueblo. We moved down here with dh's job- almost 6 yr's ago. He's not with that company anymore. He's working at a local bank, now. But we love it here and plan to stay. My parents moved here 3 yr's ago. They also love it. They do fostercare - teenage girls. They've had 2 that have had babies. They raised 5 of us so they know what their doing. Although they have and are learning alot! The weather her is great. It's the Palm Springs of CO. Very mild winters. When it snows it's usually gone the next day. Better read the rest of my email. Think there was about 70 posts. Bye, S. Mom to 5. Guest guest
Cherie My sex drive is just starting and I stress starting to come back. My baby is 6 months. I don't even want to think what menopause will do to it. I am very cycle driven. Hubby says he gets one good week per month and he had better make the most of it.
