Guest guest
Hi everyone, I just bought my son some butter made from goats cream. I thought he would find this easier to digest. Well when I got home i looked at the label and it said it contained colours: carotenes. I couldn't believe it. Are carotenes legal??? Many thanks, Jane (mum to age 8 ASD, SCD 8 months),

" Natural carotene is the orange colour of carrots (see the similarities in the names?). No problem. It gives your goat's butter a yellowish colour, as goat's cheese for example is almost white.
