Jannie started teething at 7 weeks. Her Ped. confirmed it for me. It

very well could be. Some babies just teeth early. My Ped did tell me

that the tooth might not erupt until 4mos but she had all the signs.

Are her gums red and swollen?

It works because the alcohol makes the baby sleep ... it does kill the pain

somewhat, but anbesol is better for the baby.

Can I just say that, Charlie had symptoms of teething on and off for a LONG

time before the teeth came through. I used some gel on his gums that numbed

them. I dont know what the equivalent is in the US, but here it is called

medijel or bonjella. He had teething pains for some 3/4 months before he

got the teeth... Jack (my #1 child) was the same, so I knew what to expect.

Hope this helps. (UK)

Be careful with the whiskey. I have heard of babies getting a

detectable level of alcohol from it. My gmother and mother used it on

us though.

Everyone keeps telling me my son is teething and they have been telling

me this for 4 months now. I guess he has slow teeth! He is almost 7

months

My first didn't get a tooth till 11 months and walked around with one

tooth for a whole month. She lost that tooth, one month before her six

bday.

My first started teething symptoms at 3 months and her first tooth erupted

at 8 months. It isn't constant during that time. The CalcPhos helps a lot.

Give as much of it as you want at any age.
