Guest guest
Thank you for responding. I Had a benign tumor. They first told me it was acid reflux, that was why I felt something. I was told repetatively that I wouldn't be able to feel a tumor. Over this time I developed virtgo at work. Hot flashes, dizzy spells, excessive weight gain, memory loss, like once i fogot i left my infant in the car, and my then nine year old asked me if i was going to get the baby. I never remembered putting her in the car. Then i was told I had a bad case of depression. I was sent to a councelor and put on zoloft. I had to quit working after a while. I would get so dizzy i couldn't do my job. I was then told I had anxiety disorder. I persisted on for two years, an emergency care doctor when i had strep was checking and asked if i knew i had a nodule in my throat. he sent me to have it biopsied. it came back suspicous. they removed half. then when is said i was tired all the time still and couldn't loose weight no matter what I did he said I was in the range of normal and to get off my butt once in a while. I was so mad I was a full time wife and mother to four at the time. I also used to be able to work nights as a bartender and turn around and get the kids off to school and rock all day with the babies and keep up with the house. Then the zoloft made me a non feeling zombie. About a year ago I stopped the zoloft cold turkey. My five year old nephew passed away and I couldn't cry. I didn't have any side effects like they say either. Maybe because I didn't need it. I am now seeing a doctor since we moved from ORegon to Texas. Oh, during that time I also had two misscarriages and bled more than not. Doc said it was stress. This new doc in texas put me on armour thyroid a low dose i suddenly got pregnant. Since he was born i am now on 120 mg. of armour a day. and an all natural progesterone of 50mg twice a day. I even have a sex drive. A little to late though. My husband wants to leave because while I was an emotionless zombie he fell out of love, and now that I am a woman again it might just be too late. I blame the doctors from before. I trusted them. Now I fee a nodule again. The doc did an ultra sound I go in thursday for the results. She says I may need to up my thyroid dose as well. I also have elevated kidney levels and had that ultra sounded. I don't know what my thyroid levels are I will ask on wednesday when i go in. My memory is still crap. But it's a little better. I have slowly dropped some weight but not where I was before. My energy is better but not where it was. Any suggestions on those front would be greatly appreciated. > Ultra sounds are now considered better then uptakes..... > > Some questions.... you had a partial thyroidectomy.... because of tumor? > Or Nodules?
