Are all DAN! docs charging for test kits?

I was wondering if anyone started to get charged for test kits from their DAN!

doctors. Here is a response to a bill I had questioned for a " One Test " kit

which cost 35.00 via UPS from Florida.

" I spoke with XX, our bookkeeper regarding the $35.00 shipping and handling fee-

was for the Genova One Test Kit that was shipped out to you "

Test kits are usually free. If someone is charging you for a test kit, find another doc, you're getting ripped off. You can order test kits yourself for free.

I've never been charged for a test kit. Most of them come directly from the lab. The doctor's office contacts the lab who sends them to me. The kits are free. Even if they did have to pay for shipping themsevles, they should never charge more than actual shipping charges. It would have to be one heck of a package to cost 35 bucks to ship!! Our DAN is in Florida too. I hope it isn't the same one!

Some companies are now charging for tests.

Our DAN does not charge, but I would understand if he did (assuming he charged

no more then the company would).
