Guest guest
Kate, I am on Ritalin –extended release. I take one pill in the morning before work and it lasts all day. When I first started the Ritalin I was a little jittery. My neuro then put me on the extended release and I have no side effects. It doesn’t make me hyper----just normal. I don’t fall asleep while teaching my students. Funny that you should ask today. I forgot my Ritalin this morning and the fatigue hit me late afternoon. It was hard to do all that I needed to do today. I love that I can work and go to my daughter’s softball games until 9 at night. Without the Ritalin, I would miss a lot of the things that I want to do. An added bonus—it does keep your weight down. Not a bad thing for me J I have found that I need to take it when I have breakfast at 6am. If I take it on the weekends past 8am then I have a little trouble falling asleep. But when I take it early, I have no problems. I know Sharon had side effects on it. It won’t hurt to try it since it doesn’t stay in your body long-term. Good luck, let us know what you decide to do. At first it worked good but as I slowly increased the dose towards the dose my neuro wanted the effect changed for me. I got sleepier instead of more awake, I was stumbling, slurring my words... etc. I wondered if the Ritalin was causing it so I stopped and all was well the next day. I do sometimes have an opposite reaction to medication like I did with the Lyrica. Our list member Connie B is on Ritalin and it works great for her. love Sharon This email is a natural hand made product. I rec'd the script in the mail today. As it turns out, it is the fancy name for Ritalin. ! I am a bit concerned. Should I be? Is anyone else out there on this med? I don't know if I should try it or not, or beware of the warnings that I read when I surf the net about this drug. Any thoughts or advice? I'd appreciate any and all. blessings and love, Kate Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
