Guest guest
Hi.. When you look at her, is her eye inward looking toward her nose? Or, outward looking toward her ear? I have a friend who's son has this, too. He looks toward his nose (one eye only.) His Optho suggested a patch for a little while, to see if it would correct itself (I think they give it a year to do that..) After that it's usually surgery (but very basic surgery, that Optho's do all the time, so pleae do not be alarmed at the word "surgery" My best friend's husband is also an Ophthalmologist and a professor at Penn. I ran your question by her and she told me to Google Starbismus. Does this look like it could be your daughter? I have noticed lately that when Kara is looking at something her R eye seems to be over too far. It is hard to explain. For example, if you are looking at her straight on and she is looking a little to the left or right, her right eyeball is not centered. Her left looks ok, but the right seems to be over too far????? I really can't think of a better way to explain it. I have never noticed this before. Any thoughts or experiences?
