Guest guest
Bonnie, Sprint has a pretty decent rate at $.10 a minute. There may be others, but I am not sure of them. b_pertuset@... wrote: > I have a question for you. . .Does anyone know of a good long > distance company with affordable rates? Guest guest
Bonnie, What I have done is gotten myself a cell phone for business use only for long distance purposes. I went with Sprint PCS and pay 39.99 month for 400 anytime minutes to anywhere in the US. I have never gone above my minutes and I make many long distance calls a month. = ) -- Long distance help, please. . . I have a question for you. . .Does anyone know of a good long distance company with affordable rates? I am thinking of becoming an independent contractor, which I have never been before, but if I need to pay my own long distance, I need affordable rates. Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks and have a good day! Bonnie
Guest guest
I guess it depends on where you are, what type of business you will be using (long distance, regional, local/dictation only? I went with NJ's local which is Verizon and am only using it to receive dictation. It costs me only 14 or 16 dollars a month. I advised my clients when sending their dictation to be prepared. Both of my clients are regional which means they will pay a minimum toll fee. I also advised them to look at their own phone company for different plans so they can make the most of it. I advised them to send their dictation after 5 or even better still after 10 at night for the discounted rate. Hope this helps. Guest guest
FYI - I finally joined the new millenium & got a cell phone. I signed up with AT & T and it gives me 120 daytime minutes free per month & 1000 minutes nights/weekends per month. The base rate is $28.99 a month (or maybe $29.99). The phone cost $89 to buy but they had a $40 rebate through Nokia (their phone) and $40 rebate for signing up with AT & T. I got it at the AT & T cell phone store. I didn't shop around first. It seems like I got a good deal but I can't say what others are doing. Chris Long distance help, please. . . > > I have a question for you. . .Does anyone know of a good long > distance company with affordable rates?
