Guest guest
Hi Rita, I am not on immunosuppresants, but I did laser hair removal a couple of years ago, and I absolutely love it. I could not be happier and wish I would have done it before I did. I had three treatments and essentially zero regrowth. Just my two cents. Guest guest
That's a pretty tough question for a Saturday morning, Rita Seriously though, I'm afraid I don't know the answer to that one. I would be more concerned about the present. Aren't you already on an immunosuppressant? I seem to recall you are. Yes, I also think taht it is not easy an answer, but as you know people on immunosupresants are more sensitive to develop cancer especially skin cancer, that´s why my concern. Rita PS. Pierre, I guess you do not worry much about the hair in your legs, don´t you? But we women, especially when we are approaching 40, want to look wonderful and this implies this kind of worries. Guest guest
Hi Rita I so wish I could remove my facial hair like that -- I so hate having to shave in the morning but my wife threatens divorce or castration when I don't shave for more than a day or two so I'm stuck with it ) Dave Laser I want to remove the hair of my legs using laser techniques and I am a bit worried about possible consequences in the long term. I know that initially it makes the skin more sensitive to sun radiation and that I have to care a lot to avoid sun exposure but my worry is in the long term. If I need immunosupressants in future, will I be more sensitive to develop skin cancer because of this treatment? If anyone has some experinece on this it will be greatly appreciated any input. I will go for it, and will have my first sesion on Feb 9th. Yesterday, I phoned a dermatologist regarding this point, and say no problem, do it. I am looking forward to it. Probably off topic, and coming back to looking beautiful. In my case after my crisis nearly 2 years ago, when I started to worry about this IGA, and to think about the possible effect in the long term, I decided to live as intense as possible and to try and enjoy every moment of my life. This has also affected my physical appearance. Before I was too much involved with work and I did not pay much attention to my look, but now probably because I am afraid of any future physical impact that treatments may cause on my body. That´s why I want to look better than ever. Everybody have noticed the change, and say to me that I look better now than when I was 20 years old (I am 38 now!). I got slimer (I lost 10 kilos), probably because of the lack of appetite related to a moderate kidney failure, and this makes me looks a lot better. Nobody realizes of any health problem. When I go to my neph, he says to me " I do not know how your kidney are doing but the " chasis " (do not know the translation, but something like the outer part of the body) looks excelent. Sorry about my today´s ego which is too high, and also sorry about the humour. So it was the IGA which made the change, not only in this aspect, also in my new attitude to life. Have a nice day, Rita PS. I will send a picture of my beautiful legs after laser depilation.

Guest guest
Hi Rita, I am glad you are going for it! I love your positive attitude too. In life, it is often not what we are handed to deal with, but rather our attitude in the process of dealing with things, and yours is just great!
