I read that you were hurting from those screws. How long does it take for that pain to subside?

had the headgear and screws for his surgeries. It was during what was to be the last surgery when he stirred, put his hand "in the field" where the Neurosurgeon was working, dislodged screws and lost their mapping. And you know those screws carry some weight! lol Doc M (Neurosurgeon) was so pale when he came out to the waiting room. LOL We didn't get to see the other Doc M (Anesthesiologist), but we hear he wasn't showing much color either. LOL

They gave more sleepy juice and it showed. It was the first and only surgery he had a harder time recovering from. After each of the other surgeries, he was perky and doing great. Not so much with this one. lol But he came around. )

You've probably heard this story before. Not that I repeat myself or anything. <gg>

'screwed' with the SCREWS!? Holy crud! I can hardly believe it!

I was locked in, in such a way, I couldn't have done that if I wanted

to! Wowzers! The headgear is totally for their mapping! They MUST

have freaked! I'm sore and swollen from the screws, and it hurts

like heck to bend over- I keep forgetting to not do that! Most of all,

I'm having a hard time with fatigue; what is the 'stuff/med' you are

on for your fatigue? And do you like it, Challis?

LOL Yeah, they could hardly believe it, too. Doc M talked of it when we saw him this past summer. That's when I learned of raising his hand and it was "in the field". LOL

The hospital staff remembered for that story, too. LOL

We can laugh now, but I can imagine how rattled the docs must have been. You're poking around in this kid's brain and suddenly there's his hand, his head moves, the screws are loose... lol

but I don't know what for, some 'generic' thing; Provigil is pretty expensive

even with my copay.
