Guest guest
Are you doing biofilm protocol? My son had strep and psuedomonas in his gut and biofilm did the trick for us. You know, I didn't really see any gains at first when the bacterias were gone. We did some coconut kefir and juicing and he is doing fabulous! We also did ldm-100. That stuff has helped tremendously for us! Juicing is so important! We have to get good nutrition in our kids!Sent from my iPhone Hi everyone, My sons recent OAT showed off the chart yeast and an elevated marker for a type of aerobic bacteria (not sure which one yet, just sent cdsa out yesterday). I know that yeast can cause these symptoms, but he's been on Sporanox for 10 days now and his stool is getting softer (he gets constipated with yeast). I was hoping to see a big improvement with treating the yeast and we're not....... I'm super discouraged because he has regressed a lot since a bad GI virus 2 months ago and hoping that we can find an answer. He's been VERY stimmy and spacey, just not with us even though he's with us, you know? Any experience with an aerobic bacteria causing these types of symptoms? I know his stool has shown Campylobacter in the past, it could be that again. Thanks! Kelley
Guest guest
Hi Kelley,We treated yeast (with naturals), for a year, but they didn't help. We finally did a 6 week course w/ Diflucan and the yeast was GONE. Just an Fyi ;)Best, Sent from my iPhone Hi everyone, My sons recent OAT showed off the chart yeast and an elevated marker for a type of aerobic bacteria (not sure which one yet, just sent cdsa out yesterday). Guest guest
Amy, how long did the biofilm protocol take? Are you following the Body Ecology diet? I made some coconut kefir recently to try with him, we have been doing SCD for over a year now and I'm thinking about making the switch. I'd love to hear more about both the biofilm protocol and diet when you get a chance. Also, who do you use as a DAN? > > Hi everyone, My sons recent OAT showed off the chart yeast and an elevated marker for a type of aerobic bacteria (not sure which one yet, just sent cdsa out yesterday). Guest guest
We did biofilm for about 3 months. We go to Dr. Usman's office. We also have a Dan in Indianapolis, Dr. Hulseman. I like body ecology. I do SCD too. I recently came across a post that mentioned the No Harm Foundation. This woman is a nutritionist and helps kids with Autism. I have been recently following her diet. It does seem to be helping. Juicing is so important! If you do body ecology, make sure you do coconut kefir for at least a month before you introduce yogurt. I am going to purchase some Amish butter this Spring instead of making my own. SCD is good but it doesn't heal the gut. I think alot of people are under the impression that it does. I was. It helps with symptoms. Body Ecology I like better because it helps get good bacteria florishing again. My son had hardly any good bacteria in his gut. He is doing so good right now. I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing and hope that I keep seeing gains. Good luck to you. Sent from my iPhone Amy, how long did the biofilm protocol take? Guest guest
My son's bacteria markers were super high. It was not from his gut bugs, but his undx lyme. Treating lyme has brought those markers in line. > > Hi everyone, My sons recent OAT showed off the chart yeast and an elevated marker for a type of aerobic bacteria (not sure which one yet, just sent cdsa out yesterday). Guest guest
Biofilm, LDM-100 and a parasite cleanse have done wonders for us too, along with heavy metal chelation. > > Hi everyone, My sons recent OAT showed off the chart yeast and an elevated marker for a type of aerobic bacteria (not sure which one yet, just sent cdsa out yesterday).
