Guest guest
Hi I am not currently pregnant. I'm having some tests done, because I have had two miscarriages in the past year. I had the HSG on Sept 26 and my dr. told me I have a BU. When I asked if I could continue to see the midwives, he said probably not. That really devastated me, on top of everything else. And I guess while I trust my dr's opinion, I'm also not willing to just lay down and accept this diagnosis based on HSG alone! I hope you don't mind my asking, but have you had losses? I'm only asking because sometimes if you do, dr's will work you in sooner. Or, at least mine have. Waiting until 11/7 would make me nervous too. I would think a high risk OB would recognize our nervousness about even needing to see one, and see us a little sooner than normal! Who referred you to the OB? Maybe you should find one that will see you sooner. Ot maybe your midwife can arrange for an ultrasound in a couple of weeks, because the heartbeat can typically be detected from 6-7 weeks. That might help put some of your fears to rest. Tina > > > > > > It's interesting how many of us have the same situation!
