Guest guest Posted December 1, 2003 Report Share Posted December 1, 2003 Only 2 more weeks of PD, and then I'll be home free .....with my new kidney! My Aunt is going to give me this precious gift. She so graciously got tested, and everything came out great. She is a 3 out of 6 antigen match, and tested completely negative for antibodies. I don't know how to thank her enough. I am forever indebted to her, and gladly so! As you already know, I am jumping up and down. I cannot get a smile off of my face! This is the BEST news I have heard all year. Of course, as you know, 2003 hasn't been the greatest...but I look back on it and know that for whatever(extremely screwed up) reason I am where I am supposed to be at this moment...and we all are As hard as that is to believe. I must go put the potatoes in the oven--my potassium is low, so my Mom and I are throwing a " potassium party " ...Tomorrow is also my 22nd birthday! Take care, everyone.
