Hi,

Thought I'd take a few moments to introduce myself. My name

is and I live in Wash. state.

I started the diet on December 26. I lost the usual amount the

first weeks (8 lbs), and then was at a stand still for several weeks.

When I gained 4 lbs back and felt I wasn't cheating, I read the

book again. I discovered a medication I was taking wasn't

compatible, so I stopped taking that. Also, I stopped the coffee

(even though it was decaf). I will do my weekly weigh in on

Thurs. and hopefully I will have lost. I do have a difficult time

keeping in ketosis. One time it will test high and then it drops

down again. I'm still trying to figure why such a change. Last

Saturday I ate nothing but meat and cheese and my test was

good, then on Sunday I added a few carbs and it dropped

way down again. Does the time of day affect this?

I feel great on this diet and would love to stay on it - I guess I

would like to see faster results. Any suggestions?

I also have been enjoying your messages and I've downloaded

many good looking recipes.
