Guest guest
Yes!! That's exactly what we do -- all three at the same time -- antiviral/antifungal/antibacterial (and the Flagyl will do a one two punch if there are any parasites lingering, as well). You are "weeding the garden." And then sowing the gut w/probiotics in the evening. So now everything will be balanced out. You will see the difference once he is on all three (takes about two weeks). We rotate between Keto & Fluconazole (Diflucan & Nizoral). Six months on, 6 months off, and back again, etc.,In the archives search "Flagyl", you'll notice lots of parents use this long term & have witnessed great results!!As mentioned, we give our son Flagyl 3x's per day. We make sure that his last dose is about 4 hours before bed. And then at bedtime, we support with Klaire Labs Detox Support Probiotics (started at one cap, he now takes 3 caps before bed).Good Luck :)Sent from my iPhone LOL- do not kill me. Just as we were talking about Flagyl and how his stool test was negative for Clostridia Difficle. Via the mail today, I get lab tests results and a RX for Flagyl. . Her pre printed letter states: we treat yeast and CLOSTRIDIA in the intestines of autistic children b/c both make proteins that block G prtoeins, many children show develpmental improvements after treatment. His stool test results showed microscopic yeast -few. The rest showed expected/beneficial flora 3+bacteroides fragilis group, NG Bifidobacterium spp, 4+ Escherichia coli, NG Lactobacillus spp., 2+ Enterococccus spp, 2+ Clostridium spp. But in the comments it said Clostridium spp is prevelant in a healthy intestine but you consider the context of balance with the other bacteria. I guess b/c of the high yeast, she thinks the clostridium is adding to the problem? Not sure and will have to call her, very confusing to me. Can I be on Flagyl, Valtrex, and Ketaconazole? Guest guest
Yes, it's the generic. Our son is 40lbs., so I don't know what the dose would be for 70lbs. :(Sent from my iPhone What is the dose of Flagyl for a 70 pound boy,and is metrodinazole the same as flagyl. Thanks,Tammy F. Yes!! Guest guest
Thank you Thank you!!!! Also I finally did some research to get a better understanding b/c my lack of comprehension- well has been low. Anyway, I found out that his Secretory IGA in his intestines is 4 normal is 51-204. So he is very low. What I found read the constant intestional inflammation (probably chronic fungal) weakens the protective coating of the helpful IGA antibody. IGA protects our intestines from invaders using phagocytosis. It is also an important defense mechanism to prevent colonization of Yeast and CLOSTRIDIA. O.k. so now I get it, he is full of yeast, he had some clostridia but his IGA was so low that Clostridia and yeast would end up taking over. Cool! O.k. so we will get that filled and started tomorrow! > > LOL- do not kill me. Just as we were talking about Flagyl and how his stool test was negative for Clostridia Difficle.
