Hello, we did the same exercise a couple months ago, because we are opening

a new PT clinic in Dallas, TX.

System4PT was considered among the clinic management / billing software we

review.

We were looking for one you are able to access from everywhere through an

internet connection. So you are able to see, and work from a laptop at home

as example.

We noticed that System4 is limited to your computers in office, but it is a

good option if you do want to access only from your office.

Finally, our choice was: TherAssist (www.therassist.com) which is a good

combination in cost, service and multipoint access. We are using Availity (a

clearing house free of charge)(www.availity.com ) that interface with the

TheraAssist billing module.

Have a great day!

I am looking into billing software for a small Outpatient clinic. Can you

give me some feedback on Systems4PT?

Thanks

Dear : Just wondering how much is the cost for therassist. I am using

medrium.com which is internet based. I can access it anywhere. The problem is

that the report generation is very difficult.

have you looked into office ally?

they include scheduling and billing free with their electronic health

record. All clerical staff have free of charge access and the only fees

are $29.95 per provider.

We are switching form WebPT who has an excellent system but does not

integrate billing and has lots of extra fees, $49.95 for each provider,

$20 for each clerical staff and if you want to add their scheduling

component that is an extra fee also.

Office Ally is not as intuitive as WebPT but once you learn the system

it works well to have everything all integrated in one system and have

access from any computer with internet access.

You should check into TheraOffice. The software is a complete suite including

scheduling, billing, documentation, accounting, and reporting. They have

integrations with Zirmed clearinghouse that makes uploading claims, uploading

statements, and downloading remits a one-click process. The montly cost is very

reasonable - especially compared to other options.

I don't know how accurate the information that was given re: Systems4PT. I use

this billing software in two of our clinics and you can access the software at

home. By using what they call the SAFE computer. But they have to reformat this

and it is an extra cost.

Just curious, what does TheraOffice cost?

We are in the process of changing to Office Ally and currently using 2

systems. From what I've seen so far Office Ally has the best deal

overall and has 24/7 unlimited customer support.

There are advantages and disadvantages to all systems and I like the

built in compliance controls with WebPT which prompts you when progress

notes are due and also has a way of tracking pre auths. But they don't

have integrated billing and they are only good when you can connect with

them I seem to be getting more errors when connecting to them:

" the server is taking too long to respond.. etc.. "

Hi ,

We have been using PTOS for a few years and are pleased for the most part. We

utilize the billing and schedule modules of the program and are looking into the

documentation piece as well. This is not a web based program. We have our own

server and three locations log onto our server for current data. Hope this

helps.

Can anyone recommend billing software that is capable of billing Medicare Part A

(UB04)? We are currently looking at Altapoint's web based software. Thanks in

advance!

We have been using PTOS for 11 years for billing and I like the program very

much. Like any program, there are little parts that could use improvement.

These improvements have been made to the 4.0 version, which will ultimately

support the ICD-10 codes. Unfortunately, though, we are looking around for

new software because of cost. We have a small private practice.

The price of the billing module alone is $4,595. We would love to have it,

and PTOS will discount it, if we sign up with their clearing house, which

charges for each claim. We currently use Office Ally, which is virtually

free and very easy to use.

We currently use Appointments Pro for scheduling.
