I had decided I would get a cartridge and try to hold on until the Veterans day sale. I printed out yesterday's work. My lighting is not the best but it was okay as far as I could see. When I got to her office, under flourescent lighting, I saw the horrible job the new cartridge produced. So...I left her office and went straight to Staples where they had a sale on a HP 940C. It was $149. By the time I paid for the new cartridge, which they tell me will last much longer, and the insurance and the cables I spent over $300. I can't afford this but I also could not afford to not do it. I will keep the present printer for backup but hopefully will get the new one up and running over the holiday weekend.
