Guest guest
Doggone it- I just lost my entire long post!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shoot!!!! Can't repeat it all and it was a good one Anyway, I was telling you that I question the same thing about fibro and exercise. All the way thru the past 2 years, I've kept up regular exercise, except for a few periods of a week or 2, and a couple that lasted a month, when I just couldn't do it. I was in very good shape and also taking an antidepressant when I first began having symptoms. When I start to feel unwell, resting is what helps me most, even htough I try to get in 20 minutes of at least gentle exercise during htose times. I think back to last Christmas, when I fell badly in my kitchen- and those couple of other falls I had. Thank goodness have not done that in a while I do overal feel stronger than I did, but have " episodes " or periods of extra fatigue and pain and " weakness " . It does bother me that I even had a 2 month period last winter when I did have some problems- very noticeable to ME- swallowing and chewing. And, there have been periods when I had the trouble keeping my arms up, using stairs, getting around, etc. You know the drill. I really havent' come across a doctor yet, that I know of, who has told me that PM could " simmer " or come and go without being detected by at least one blood test, over time. Wish I could pick the brains of more experts, like your doctors, but that won't happen. Heck, I'd PAY them for opinions!! But, doctors seem pretty much to only talk to other doctors about their cases, and I can understand that. Any way, I said a whole lot more in my lost post , but I've written enough for now. Take care,
