Gastric Bypass I went to my first Appt. today, and I am going to go forward with the procedure, and see what happens it takes a few months to even find out if you are approved, and you can back out at any time. It is really hard, I have heard people say it is the easy way out, but there is notthing easy about it, you do not just get the surgery and drop weight, it is not magic or a cure, you are on a very strick diet, and also because of what they do, you do not asorb fats and such in the same way. It is a huge change. As he told us today it is a tool, how we use it is up to us, we have to make the choices. I think that I will do very well with the food part of it, cause I can follow a set diet without issues, if I know what I am doing, and not having ten people tell me what to do. I just have been so big for so very long, I have done everydiet that is lidgit, and I just need more help. I am not just a few pounds over weight, and as he also explained today once you reach a high weight, it is much hard to ever take off the amount of weight need ... I am 380, that is beyond large. I do not even know if I will be approved, or if I will end up backing out, but I look at it this way all the nutritions classes and such can not hurt me.
