Hey team,

I've not been posting much since at my day job I am working 70 hour weeks. It is

slightly exhausting to say the least!

I am probably going to be working these hours up through the end of August.

However, I am here, still struggling to keep tight control, but taking it day by

day.

This morning my waking sugar was 169, 9.3, so I dosed 4 units of humalog to

break the high then I'll eat breakfast in a few hours.

Breakfast will be a few scrambled eggs and that is about it!

I think what I am going to do is jot down what I am going to eat at each meal

every day when I wake up. This way I have a map rather than just coasting

through the day with no real restrictions. I have to put some sort of boundary

in place for me or I'll just eat, and eat, and eat!

Like told me a few weeks back, some people eat to live and some people

live to eat. I live to eat, unfortunately!

Regards,

Hey , good to see you back on!!

The planning idea is a real good one!! It really helps me! I try to plan 2

or 3 days a time! When I know that I am going to get a certain food on a

certain day, I don't seem to crave it as much!

My morning reading was 4.8 (86)

This is due almost exclusively to my diet, since I am type 2.

Thanks again for starting the idea of posting which has made a huge

difference for me, to be more accountable!

which is great for me!
