This is correct for many of the codes, however some of the codes do not include

fit and adjustment and billing the appropriate CPT for your time is appropriate.

The L-code descriptor should have " includes fit & adj " next to the descriptor if

this cost is already included in the L-code price/reimbursement.

I am not awaare of any 90 day global attached to the Lcodes for return visits

for fit and adjust. We have been billing 97762, splint check for fit and adjust

on some subsequent visits and have not been denied (I know that doesn't

necessarily mean it is correct) so I would like to be sure about this. Does

anyone have a specific reference to this? I cannot find one on my coding

subscription or coding book.

Also, my clients sometimes charge for an evaluation when fabricating a splint,

even if the patient is not returning for therapy. Where is a reference to the

fact that an evaluation is included in the splint fabrication code?

Thanks in advance,
