I have been working on this for a long time. I am looking for your thoughts and reactions to my idea.

It is easy to find the MD's and DAN doctors, but finding GOOD local alternative specialist is hard. I am trying to find a solution...

let me know what you think!

Warrior MAMA ~ Parents helping Parents

Hi my name is and I have developed Warrior MAMA.com. I am also known as Warrior MAMA. My 2 kids have been diagnosed with many disorders including asthma, allergies, ADHD and autism. Just like you I have had to seek out healing and restorative care for my children. This 10 year battle has turned me into a warrior who is Managing All Medical Alternatives for my kids.

Fellow warriors, we must unite in a powerful way to change the lives of children in Cincinnati. There are countless kids who have been diagnosed with asthma, allergies, autism, ADHD and all the related illnesses of sensory integration disorder, failure to thrive, developmentally delayed, and so on who would benefit by our cumulative experience, knowledge and input!

Together we can create an online database of alternative therapies and providers right here in Cincinnati who are helping us battle for our children’s future. How long did you search to find something that would work for your child? How nervous were you trying an “alternative” idea to bring healing to your child? How many people second guessed what your “mommy gut” told you was right for your child?

Healing the symptoms of asthma, allergies, autism and ADHD is so controversial.

· First, it is not medically accepted and covered under insurance.

· Second, our children are so unique. What worked for my son does not work for my daughter. And what worked for your child may not work for either of mine. There may be 100 possible solutions out there and only 10 may work for each of my kids.

· But how do we know which ones? The GFCF diet? MB12 shots? NAET treatments? Supplements?

· We need a parent database of therapies and treatments that have worked -to help parents find quicker interventions with less tedious research.

· A data base in which each therapy may not work for each child, but the totality of the website’s existence will speed the connection of quality providers and children.

Now stop for a minute. How many things have you tried for your child? One? Ten? One hundred? I can tell you this, when we tried the GFCF (gluten free casein free) diet with my daughter – despite everyone telling us it wouldn’t work –after we had tried 3 years of aggressive intervention in school, psychology, pharmacology and prayer - and IT WORKED. On day one.

I told the world! Our tantruming, depressed, autistic child had eye contact one day after starting the diet. Within a week her body temperature returned to a normal regulation and she would accept our hugs again. Within a month the Depakote that was at a dangerously high 1000 mg and still not maintaining her mood – was dropped to 500 mg and working just fine.

Now since it took 3 years and dozens of failed therapies before we tried the GFCF diet, are all those other avenues wasted? And since the GFCF diet did not have such a radical impact on my son’s health does that invalidate the impact it had on my daughter?

Of course not. I am not a doctor or a nurse. I hold no nutritional or medical degrees, but I can tell you this. I AM healing my children. One therapy, one supplement, one day at a time and you are too!

Now imagine with me… What if when you started this journey, the first day your child received the asthma, allergy, autism or ADHD diagnoses, or even earlier than that, when you “knew” something was wrong, but you couldn’t get the medical community to agree with you.

What if…

You could log onto a website full of parents stories about what they had done to help their children regain health? What if you could read about doctors who were using MB 12 shots and what success they were seeing? That you can find some of that on the web now. But take it a step further…

What if you could compare how much doctors charged for services and how long therapies lasted to get results? How many times have you gone to an “initial consultation” for hundreds of dollars just to find out you needed hundreds of dollars of tests just to get started? The cost may be justified, but wouldn’t it be nice to know up front?

So that is what I want to do. I want to collect testimonies of therapies that are working in Cincinnati. Who is providing them? How long does it take to get results and/or complete the therapy and what is the total cost to the parent?

Organized information. No more, no less. You will still have to battle for your child and discern which treatments sound like they will fit your child the best. I just want to make the process more transparent. Information is power. You can take many roads to heal your child. I just want to provide a road map.

So will you partner with me? Just send an e-mail to @... and I will send you an e-mail testimonial packet or you can send me an email with the answers to the questions listed below.

Just think of the difference this will make in the lives of thousands of children in this city – not just for today but for years and years to come. Your story, your experience, your journey can help bring healing to another.
