Dear all

I would like to thank Mr Hari Singh for bringing this to our notice. At the

outset I would like to say that thie denial of services or discrimination is not

at all acceptable to NACO. I have already asked the APD,Delhi SACS to conduct a

quick enquiry and inform NACO about the facts and action taken if this is true.

On 12th Jan 2009, the Principal Secretray Health, Delhi Govt chaired a high

level meeting where in it was clarified that ART centres in Delhi have to spruce

up their premises, quality of care has to be of very high level and any instance

of denial of services or discrimination will not be tolerated. NACO has

instructed all states to constitute State level grievence redressal committees

chaired by Secretary Health of their states and these committees will have local

network of positive people as its member.

We at NACO are committed to fight this denial of services/discrimination  to

PLHAs in health care settings
