We have the same problem in school, I once told the teach to take him out for a walk or doing something else during the snack time.

We are thinking stop GF too, mostly because we didn’t see improvement with the diet, and, as far as we know, my son doesn’t have yeast problem. I am going to do this slowly, of course.

I once heard Dr. Mike suggests to try 2 weeks with a LOT of Wheat food to see it any bad reaction happens. I think I will try that just to be sure.

Hi Meeta, I went through the same thing. This is hard. But with enough advanced planning this is easy to remedy!First of all, your teacher needs to have a stash of good stuff! usually they have a freezer in the teachers lounge. So you need to get two or three GFCF cupcakes that you make and put in a sealed container and label it with your childs name. These are for emergency parties that your teacher has no control over. But, you will need to train the teachers to let you know in advance of parties. So that you can provide a similar item. Then non perishable items like a few gfcf lollypops to give if there is a treat in the classroom. Even at lunch, just make sure they have lots of good food and more than they can eat. If there is envy it will be on the part of the kids eating school lunches and watching your child eat yummy homemade food made with love from you! Oh, the kids try to steal my sons Rice works chips and chocolate dipped pretzels.

Just start trying to figure out what your child loves and make sure they have it at school. Good luck and hang in there:)>>> > I know this question has been discussed many times but I still need some help in getting through today :( > > Regards,> Meeta>
