Guest guest
Hi everyone, I went to the hospital, this afternoon, with contractions 5 minutes apart. I had an ultrasound appointment at 4, anyways, and the contractions backed off for a little bit to 10 minutes, but upon examination, I am starting to dialate and thin out. It's just the beginnings, but I may actually be in early labor. If the contractions get back down to 5 minutes, consistantly, again, and get a bit more painful, I am to go back to see if my cervix has changed. An odd thing, my blood sugar was low after eating lunch, it was 95! So, the midwife that I talked to said to eat more frequently, right now, to try and keep my energy up, because I felt a little light headed. I am now home and just playing the waiting game to see if the contractions come on any stronger and any closer together. What they did today was about 5 to 10 minutes apart from 10:30 to 12:30, then a very steady 5 minutes apart from 12:30 to 1:30. Then back to about 10 minutes apart, until about 3:30, then 5 to 7 minutes through the current time I'm writing this. They were more intense until about 5:30, they are still a bit intense, but just not as painful, at the moment, so we shall see what happens. Gordon is taking a nap, just in case. My Mom took Lily to the playground and is then taking her to Dairy Queen for dinner. I will keep you all posted as best I can. Guest guest
Hi , I'm 35 weeks and 2 days, today. Ultrasound, today, suggests she is just under 6 lbs, so a good size, if she was to come soon.
