Good morning. I had one instance of this in the last year and I was able to

successfully bill my Medicare intermediary-however, they limited the number of

units that they would allow (mine was only 8 units); as you know, this is a

several hour procedure(most of the day, including documentation time), so

ultimately it was not cost effective, so we would not do it again for a Medicare

patient. Hope this helps.
