Guest guest
I would also like some feedback on this would it work for a 3 yr old ?it is 99 dollars .Subject: Ambrotose by Mannatech: Any tried it? Any feedback? To: mb12 valtrex Received: Friday, October 15, 2010, 4:23 PM Good morning, all, In relation to LDM-100, I saw Ambrotose as a support. I also was introduced to Ambrotose by Mannatech at the Neurosensory Centers of America. Has anyone tried it? How much does it cost? Any feedback? It is suppose to support the immune system by providing glyconutrition to the body. From what I gather, the natural sugar in aloe vera and seven other key natural sugars are used to help the immune system. Some of these same sugars are found in breast milk and have been shown to note that breast milk is far better than the synthetic formula in part due to the sugars. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Jerry
Guest guest
Jerry & Sandy, We've used Ambrotose recommended by 2 different docs over the last 6 years of my sons recovery....it's a staple around our house after some of the things I've seen of it. A couple of things I would like to comment up front about: 1) No 1 thing has been our recovery ticket. Instead it's been slow steady improvements that have helped him so much over the years. So if you're looking for that miracle 1 thing that fixes everything... it's not a 1 stop shop.... 2) It is an MLM. A few years back I became a distributer, not for income but to save myself extra $'s. I ordered it for my family & periodically for friends not taking a profit...but because they asked me to help them. For the last few years I have only ordered through an e-bay contact one of our WA group tipped me off to....we have direct connect to her to save all the e-bay costs. My direct contact has been reliable, easier & more reasonable so I use her directly for a few years now. Many times a few of us in WA will get together a group order to save even more. If you need that contact e-mail I'd be glad to share, just e-mail me off-list. I've been unjustly attacked for supporting this product before because of it's MLM roots...just making sure you know I make no personal $'s off this & just want to pass you the info that might be helpful for you. The 1st BioMed doc (a child phyciastrist that worked w/complementary meds) we used 6 years ago started him right off on Ambrotose. Shortly after starting it, my then 18mo old daughter ended up w/the flu. All the sudden she threw up & spiked a fever. I called my good friend who as a RN & nutritionist that I trusted...she had just been through some training on this. She told me to give her some Ambrotose & see what happens. It can be a tad bit bitter so I mixed it w/a little white grape juice that I had on hand. I could not believe what happened. Within 15 min her color came back, she stopped throwing up & her fever went from 102 to 99...just from the Ambrotose. I'm personally not without it...it's my 1st line of safe defence (it's nutritionally concidered a whole food & is used even in some pregnancies & small children as a whole food). The biggest drawback w/it is it's expensive. Years ago during some big viral attacks the Docs had us on up to 4 scoops a day....he last year or 2 it's only been 1 scoop a day...so the dose w/very depending on what you are fighting. You can not overdose on it...you just don't want to waste it. I researched it early on in our use. It increases the cellular communications of the cell. I hope you don't mind, to save time I'm just going to copy part of a post I did on another group a couple of years ago....just to let you know no one else replied back that only the Ambrotose was being used at that time. Here's a copy w/some info you may like to look at: " My son has muscle tested strong on Ambrotose for for many years now. As happy as I am with the product itself I would like to try & find something that is somewhat comparable for the express purpose of saving money (he generally fluctuates between 2 & 4 scoops of Advanced Ambrotose a day, the other 3 of us maintain at 1 scoop a day to trying to keep our costs down, 1 bottle lasts our family about 1-1 1/2 months). I'm trying to compare some of the other Glyconutrient options out there before having to order in the next week and have been looking at some of the other websites & companies. Here's some key stuff I've come across in my research, both good & bad, and I'm still in a quandry as to what to order....included are some of my thoughts or need to look in to's: 1) My jar of Ambrotose says: Serving size: 1 scoop (670 mg) Serving per container:224 Recommended adult use: 1 scoop twice daily Arabinogalactan (from Larix spp. wood), Aloe Vera (inner leaf gel), Rice starch, Ghatti Gum, Gum Tragacanth, Glucosamine HCI (vegetarian), Wakame (undaria pinnatifda), Algae Extract Info from the website: " arabinogalactan and saccharides from aloe with fucoidan-rich Undaria pinnatifida, a brown seaweed harvested from the clear waters off the coast of Tasmania " Red star Advanced Ambrose (which is what we currently use) says: " fucose, mannose and galactose were all rebalanced in the new formulation. "  New contains " 26% more mannose than original and 70% more mannose " . Galactose content is 10% higher and 170% higher than in the original Advanced Ambrotose™. These increases are due to the addition of arabinogalactan. Fucose content is 32% higher than in original Ambrotose® complex. Fucose levels in new Advanced Ambrotose™ are very similar to those in the original version of Advanced Ambrotose™, but the purity of this fucose is now much higher and will reduce taste and odor complications previously experienced by some consumers. " " Advanced Ambrotose™ is enriched with wakame, a brown algae (Undaria pinnatifida) that is rich in beneficial polysaccharides known as fucoidans. " " exert prebiotic, antioxidant and immune system effects. In a double-blind, placebo-controlled study, it exerted beneficial effects on brain function " 2) http://www.glyconutrientsreference.com/ Has real good information. In the About Us it says it is not a retail site. It has this: From http://www.glyconutrientsreference.com/whosuppliesglyconutrients.php : " The No. 1 leader in glyconutrients research and development is Mannatech. This company has been involved in the field since 1996, and has a reputation for a high quality, pharmaceutical grade range of glyconutrients products. The company has applied for, and is in the process of being granted patents in over 100 countries throughout the world, of two or more of these glyconutrients in a supplement form. The marketplace is demanding new regulations that require strict scientific validation and this has resulted in a set of GMPs (Good Manufacturing Practices). There are a couple of lesser companies who market glyconutrients despite the patents and patents pending. These companies do not appear to place the same emphasis on GMPs as does Mannatech. One of these company's products includes other ingredients such as maltodextrin, potassium bicarbonate, silicon dioxide, sodium bicarbonate. Mannatech has only plant ingredients in their glyconutrients products. " If you go to Home on the left it has " Click here to go to a site that provides comprehensive information on how to purchase. " From there you end up at " Mitcel " which talks about some MLM stuff...not sure the price or if it is Mannatech related....if it is I'm going to stick with what I'm doing now. 3) http://www.evenbetternow.com/als-glyconutrients.asp?s=positiontech2 no added fillers, artificial flavors, or additives Serving Size: 1 Scoop (3.3 grams) or 4 capsules Servings per Container: 33 (powder), 30 (capsules) Ingredients: Proprietary blend (3300 mgs) - Arabinogalactin, Aloe Vera Whole Leaf powdered extract, Ghatti Gum powder, Guar Gum powder, Fenugreek Seed powder, Maitake Mushroom powder, Locust Bean Gum powder. Other ingredients: Powder form - Rice Bran (tiny amount for absorbing moisture), Cinnamon powder, Stevia. Capsule Form - Vegetable Cellulose, Rice Bran Powder & L-Leucine (flowing agent). Capsule form - Vegetable Cellulose, Rice Bran Powder, L-Leucine (flowing agent). Contains no added sugar, starch, preservatives, artificial colors, flavors or additives, corn, wheat, yeast, soy or dairy 110 gram jar or 120 capsule bottle, 1 - 2 Jars/Bottles=$60.00 Note to self: 33 servings per container vs Ambrotose 224 servings per container. This would end up putting servings per container cost above my current Ambrotose cost. 4) http://www.glycoinformation.com/ Says it has all 8 " The 8 Essential glyconutrients: 1. Glucose 2. Mannose 3. Galactose 4. Fucose 5. N-AcetylGalactosamine 6. N-AcetylGlucosamine 7. N-AcetylNeuraminic Acid 8. Xylose " Has: Shark Cartillage, Shitake Mushrooms, Psyllium Seed Husk, Fenugreek seed, Lecithin, Nutritional Yeast, Kelp, Whey Protein Isolate Glycoplex contains many different ingredients, No fillers, No Binders, Not Altered by a Pharmaceutical Company. Glycoplex 170 grams $44.95, 1lb $89.95 I just e-mailed them these ?'s: 1) Is this gluten free? 2) Appears to have caseins with the Whey Protein (casein?) Isolate, could you confirm this. 3) What is the servings per bottle (big & little) and how much is the recommended serving size? 4) Do you have a sample size that can be used for muscle testing? 5) http://www.naturessunshine.com/us/index.aspx Did not ART test as well as the Ambrotose & has magnesium stearate & silicon dioxide With us hitting his system hard w/chelation & viral detox this summer I need to make sure his system is being well supported, so I'm leaning toward re-ordering the Ambrotose and just play it safe right now, but want this groups comments. Here's my ? to the group: Anyone MT/ART test any of the other products against the Ambrotose and willing to share their findings? Anyone using any of the other Glyco products? " Just to let you know, I did & have continued to get the Ambrotose. Last time I ordered w/another one of our WA moms as she was told by one of our best docs that this is what her son needed to help build his immune sytem up some more. It's been a while since I checked on all that they carry, but I only get the advanced (red star) one...some of the old ones have gluten in them the red star one is one of the newer ones & they made it gluten free...so do watch which one you get. Hope this helps you some. All My Best!! Rita > > > Subject: Ambrotose by Mannatech: Any tried it? Guest guest
Because we were not seeing any gains after 6 months at NeuroSensory center, it was also recommended to me. I've seen a few posts about it throughout the years but not too many raving about it. Although a few see results. Yasko also uses it in her protocol. I spoke to a neurological chiro (who I respect) who told me ambrotose is like chemotherapy in that it cuts off capillary flow to the tumor, he then proceeded to tell me enzymes increase blood flow to the tumor then you flush out the bad stuff. So that isn't really a great explanation on my part but I got his point. We got into how to get rid of the bad stuff for these kids who can't detox and we started discussing PH so I didn't get further into the discussion. > > Good morning, all, > > In relation to LDM-100, I saw Ambrotose as a support. > > I also was introduced to Ambrotose by Mannatech at the Neurosensory Centers of America. > > Has anyone tried it? > > How much does it cost? > > Any feedback? > > It is suppose to support the immune system by providing glyconutrition to the body. Guest guest
My OBGYN from 2004-2006 was using it on his son who had diabetes and a brain tumor. He raved about it. He learned about it from another western medicine doctor who cured his cancer with it. I haven't kept up with the obgyn so I don't know if his son is still in remission. Guest guest
Hello... The Mannatech products are good my son used them for 3 or 4 years. We stopped them just 7 months ago because my son started the Modified Adkins Diet for his seizures. The carb count on the products were to high for the diet. The products did help with his immunity. If your son does start on the products look into Manna Relief...which gives you the products for a donation ($125.00 a month) at cost. You will get a box every other month of about 5 products).
