How old is your son? ( if he is super young then I am unsure of the dosing for my suggestions) My daughter is 9 and I had the same thing happen recently. Use extra digestive enzymes and also activated charcoal. Separate each by atleast two hours. The enzymes will help to digest any gluten that is still in the gut and the charcoal will suck it all up.. Make sure to give extra water. Also I found a epsom salt bath to be helpful. 2 cups epsom salt in a warm as possible bath. I dissolve the salts first in a pot of water on the stove and add it to the bath. My daughter was foggy for about two or three days but cleared up. Continue this regimine over the next few days until symptoms improve. If there is an actual allergic

reaction benadryl works. Good luck. I feel your frustration but all we can do is keep moving forward. If you can get a written statement from your doc that your son is NOT allowed to have certain foods, give a copy to the school. Always helps to have a paper trail in case you might need it.

I have the same problem but mine only goes 2 days a week. I guess since they

don't see immediate, typical allergic reaction, they think he is fine and I

won't notice. The problem is he gets very bad upset stomach at night, crying

fits, zoning off seizures, and sleep problems. I have started e-mailing the

Director at 2 and 3 a.m. to let them know I am up with a very irritable, sick

child and inquire if he was fed goldfish instead of the snack I packed; the

incidences have decreased remarkably.
