Guest guest
I saw improvement in stool & bloating & behavior (less aggressive).Sent from my iPhone , can you tell me what positives did you see when your son was taking Uva Ursi before he started getting Rx medicine. How long should I use naturals before moving onto Rx to treat bacteria? How about OLE? Did you give OLE on every day basis and rotated Uva Ursi only? Is that correct? Thank you, Dovile My son is 40lbs., too. Also, Flagyl helped us w/ constipation. My son was always constipated. Did she mention why she was switching from Diflucan to Nizoral? (after 3 months?) Was it working? If not antibiotics, Have you considered Uva Ursi?? Uva Ursi is dosed 2 weeks on 2 weeks off. You could start at one cap, then increase to two (if he tolerated it). I also use 2 tbsp. of 's Aloe, preventatively, every morning. This helps to keep things moving and also helps to seal the gut wall. If constipation is a real issue Oxy Powder is amazing. I would not use Miralax (check the archives). Regression w/ gain is common. I would not worry too much about that. Activated Charcoal does work wonders. You are on the right path!! And you are never alone -- we are all here to help. The folks on this board are BEYOND amazing!! Just read, read, read and question, question, question, keep a journal regarding food in & out and behaviors, etc., write in it every day -- this has helped more more than anything!! Also, try 2 cups of epsom in his warm bath every night, you will notice a difference in behavior from that alone HTH, To: mb12 valtrex Sent: Thu, October 14, 2010 11:48:03 PMSubject: Re: Valtrex regression My son is 4, 40 lb.s, we are using Ketoconazole for yeast, we were on diflucan for several months before Megson switched us. He is a yeasty kid. We take cellfood in our water and the GSE, probiotics. My son has problems with constipation, so Candex did not work for us. Kirkman yeast aid was disgusting. However, his yeast is better his belly is not distended now on the Ketoconazole. What are we doing for bacteria? Well, we are not on antibiotics. We use GSE, LDN, and tons of other supplements I mentioned some. What do you suggest for bacteria? He has a BM a day, no matter what, and occasionally gets constipated-and takes aloe juice or miralax. I never had to use charcoal only motrin during chelation. I hate the fact that you can not give it an hour before or after supplements. When I also give miralax and that has the same precautions. I do not know if I am coming or going. I am giving plenty of water.I was at work tonight my husband said our son was saying all sorts of appropriate things this evening. So although there is some regression, we are seeing some positives. I am on this site so I can get advice to recover him. I try to listen and absorb all the advice and suggestions- sometimes it gets complicated. So I hope all the experienced people will continue to tell me what they think- I appeciate it(:> > Have you tried activated charcoal and epsom salts orally? What were some of the behaviors you saw? After the regression what were some of the gains? I need some inspiration to keep this up. It makes me very worried how bad my son feels. He laid on the floor for 30 minutes at his friend's house and said he had too! He tells me that he is mad or sad now, and if he is happy it lasts a minute and the next he is destroying his toys or licking the wall. He yelled at his preschool teacher this morning. He never does that, they we very shocked. He is always so sweet and quiet. How else can I help him besides motrin and espon salts? Remind me why I am doing this? Did anyone's child recovery after valtrex? Thanks->
