Guest guest Posted October 5, 2010 Report Share Posted October 5, 2010 My sons DAN rx'd Valtrex 500mg 2x day. My son is 75 pounds. I read that Valtrex should be dosed 3x a day, and I am also thinking this dose is too low. Please explain if 2 or 3 x a day makes a huge difference and why so I can share a reason with my sons doctor, and also on the mg. too.
