Guest guest
Hi Starting the diet with my 6 year old diet PDD Nos. is very agressive. We have been GFCF for 3 years. We had lots of improvement then but have been stalled since then although we do the DAN protocol with little improvement. So I am trying this. Is there a legal list - I haven't been able to find it, on pecanbread.com. Like toothpaste to avoid etc. I am trying to find some substitutes to the foods she loves so the transition is not so painful plus she is very dairy and phenol sensitive. Which means trouble with the nut flours. What about pork rinds they seem to be made with only pork and salt? I heard people on atkins use them as snacks and crush them as bread crumbs substitute. What about store bought Nut milks like from Pacific? Any other helpful hints for a newbie would be appreciated. Jeneane in Houston, TX mom to Sam 6 yr PDD nos Beth 4 yr Aspergers ? Guest guest
I think you are really going to like this diet! Many people people have stated that aggression was one of the first things to improve. As for a list of legals, there isn't just one list, but there is a ton of good information on www.pecanbread.com www.breakingtheviciouscycle.info and of course, The Book. Glad you are here! son - 5yo ASD, SCD one year and one month
